"What I love most about teaching RCB is how it feels to see parents faces 'light up' when they became aware of what's possible for their families. Although in my opinion, 'my parents' were amazing with their very own parenting skills, they gladly welcomed RCB's vision as they all want to connect with their children at a deeper level. My first experience teaching it in Spanish was miraculous. This class opened up a whole new world of possibilities for 'my' Spanish community. Transforming the view of how we parent our children ~ culturally speaking ~ was a wonderful, successful, and fulfilling challenge. I found that in the end, language and/or culture become secondary. Our primary experience is our deep love for our children. We all shared our vision in wanting to raise our chlldren to be wonderful, loving human beings who are capable, open, and willing to live their very own lives to the fullest.
Thank you Susie for encouraging me to take a huge leap of faith! I landed on my feet and my heart is ready for more, more, more!"

“I had never heard about RCB or Indigo Village until a friend recently approached me. I had been telling her about the “behavioral” issues I was having with my three year old daughter and about her doctors referral to begin behavior therapy. The last thing I want is to have some random doctor prescribe her medicine. My friend’s child goes to the same preschool, we occasionally get the kids together for play dates and she would notice my struggle with Lilianna. My friend, also a single mother, approached me about the RBC course as she had been wanting to go for over a year, saying we should do it together. I have been a mother for four years and had never taken a parenting class. After reading about RCB and Indigo Village online I was intrigued, so I agreed. And to be honest, after just the first class I feel like a whole new world has been opened up to me. A lot of the things that are taught in RCB seems like it would be common sense or you get that “why didn’t I think of that” feeling. I realized that everything that I do in regards to parenting is due to the way I myself was raised. Of course, I want my children raised differently than myself so my mind was open to this whole new parenting style. Application of the concepts and tools takes some getting used to, you have to “retrain” yourself to think differently about your child’s reactions to life. After 4 weeks I have seen significant improvement in my relationship with both of my daughters and their relationship with each other. I still feel we have a long way to go, but I am thankful that we are headed down the right path now thanks to RCB. I feel like I understand them. I feel like our love is stronger. I am enjoying our conversations. And best of all I find myself thinking about going home and just being together, sometimes I can’t wait. I am used to getting 3 to 4 phone calls a week from Lilianna’s teacher regarding her behavior, she would constantly be in the director’s office for time out. I have not had a call in almost two weeks! Lately she has been getting “a two thumbs up report” at the end of the day instead of “two thumbs down”. I am sharing the book with her teacher so we are on the same page. I wish there was a way this class could be offered to every parent in the world! I can’t say enough about RCB.”

“The Foundation and Indigo Village have given me the opportunity of a lifetime! As a result of some of these courses, I am now able to see where my responsibility lies within creating the happiness I want for myself and my entire family. I have in turn increased my self- acceptance and the ability to accept others for who they are. I am forever grateful”
