Meet The Indigo Village Educational Foundation's President & Founder, Susie Walton

After devoting more than 20 years in supporting countless families to create more peaceful relationships and greater connection, Susie Walton established the Indigo Village Educational Foundation in 2009. The Foundation became the non-profit counterpart to Indigo Village and would serve as a vehicle that would help move programs and services into the community for people regardless of their economic means.  It is Susie’s heartfelt belief that true change begins in the home.

The Indigo Village Educational Foundation is a non-profit community based initiative that provides programs in parenting and life skills. The Foundation takes a cutting-edge approach to reaching families and children through the education and awareness of adults and parents.

web42.jpgIt is our belief that by providing parents and adults with the awareness of how they were parented, that they can in turn develop the skills to raise self-reliant, motivated and empowered children.

We believe that by serving parents we have the potential of impacting generations. That each and every parent does their best every day with the tools they have available to them and that by providing additional tools, we are able to provide more options of handling challenges within the family unit.

We believe that our children are our future and that by assisting the adults who care for them – both at home and in schools – we can positively impact the future.

We believe that every child deserves an environment that honors & celebrates them. We believe that every parent has the right to feel successful as a parent. And we believe that if we can create these results that the world-at-large will be a place that thrives, and the legacy that we leave to our children will be one to be proud of.

The Indigo Village Educational Foundation strives to create this reality - one community at a time!

"Work with a child and impact one life at a time. Work with parents and impact generations." -Anonymous
